- I bought this costume for my 3.5 year old who wears a 4/5T. She is big for her age and is in 75th percentile for both height and weight. This costume in a size 2-4T was way too long and wide and it fell off of her shoulders. I had to sew the length up 3 inches so she wouldn't trip on it. And I had to sew the shoulders up 2 inches on each side so it wouldn't fall off of her shoulders. This is a great costume if you like to sew and don't mind spending too much money in general for something that doesn't fit. - I ordered this costume online and read the reviews about size/fit. It did run very big! The length was good for my daughter (she is an average size 5 year old and I ordered the 3T. The top was very big. I had to sew it at the shoulders to keep it up on her. However, she wore it three times (for a total of more than 12 hours) and played hard and it held up well. Started to come apart a little at one shoulder but overall I was very happy with this product. I would buy it again in hindsight.
