- My daughter was very excited when she opened this toy. She wanted it out of the box right away and had to be coaxed into opening more Christmas presents first. There were a couple things she was dissapointed with though. That Count Dracula is not removable and that Elmo doesn't fit securly in the bus and falls over if she pushes it too hard. From my point of view, the bus seems flimsy, especially the door. In comparison to the Little People bus (which we've had for 4 years now), the Sesame Street bus seems like it would break much easier. The Little People bus is made out of heavier, more durable plastic. If this bus is in a toy box and a heavier toy gets thrown on top of it, I could see it breaking.…
- I bought this for my 2-yr-old because he loves buses, loves the "Wheels on the bus" song, and loves Elmo. I thought this gift would be a home run, but he didn't end up loving it like I thought. Kids are unpredictable after all, and my son recently did become very attached to a simple little die-cast school bus. Perhaps if this toy came with more removable Sesame Street characters, it would have appealed to him more. I agree with other reviewers in that my son was briefly frustrated by the non-removable Count in the drivers' seat, and by the door not staying open. I also agree that the cut-out roof is a design plus. This toy bus is certainly well made, it just wasn't fun for our child.…
